The Annual Grand Wine Tasting event for the Abilities Foundation was more grand than ever with more restaurants and wines particpating. Abilities helps to train and educate persons with disabilities so that they can help themselves. This year’s event was supported by hundreds of donor and sponsors. Tropicana Field was full of sample displays, silent auction items, great music, and enthusiastic contributors to support the Abilities efforts. Almost 1,000 individuals were assisted with employment last year alone representing almost 17 million dollars in annual starting wages. This Tampa Bay based organization assisted over 9,000 individuals throughout Florida last year alone. The annual Grand Tasting takes months to plan and Foundation President Frank Delucia and Special Events Director Sandy Liberatore provided a well organized event with lots of volunteers to assist.
