The twice a year Walk with the Mayor encountered a windy and blustery day this March, Mayor Pam Iorio and over 200 walkers did not let that get in their way. Usually these events attract a really large crowd, but while the crowd may have been smaller, the spirit was not squelched. This event is a statement about trying to get Tampa residents to walk and be healthy. Al Lopez Park has a one mile trail that is perfect for the event. Watch for another walk in the Fall, and hopefully the weather will be a little better.
