Taste events have become very popular. Nice outdoor settings with plenty of food to sample, sort of a hard thing to not like. The Taste of New Tampa is one of the best. Their event is a little different in that the local businesses of all types are showcased along with the participating restaurants and caterers. This opportunity to meet and talk with insurance companies, service industries, political candidates, and others provides for a fun atmosphere with some practical sides too. Over 5,000 attended this year’s event held at the New Tampa Community Park. The weather was perfect and the event met everyones expectations and more. Over 20 food vendors participated with sushi,pizza, pasta dishes, steak fajitas, various wraps, and lots more. If you left hungry it had to be your own fault. In previous years the event had drifted into Pasco County/Wesley Chapel area, but the New Tampa/Tampa Palms location provided for a good event with a very natural setting. Watch for this event next year !
