One of Tampa’s most influential real estate attorneys took some time to talk with us about the current market. Ron Weaver with Stearns, Weaver, Miller has been involved in many of the Tampa Bay area’s hottest transactions. His frequent appearance at City and County zoning meetings have involved securing the air space for high rise buildings (including Tampa’s Trump Tower), retail developments, hotels (the proposed Westin) in St. Petersburg and office buildings. We asked him about the state of the current real estate environment, what the pluses and minuses are, and where and when he thinks it is going.
