Engel & Volkers has opened a full service office in Tampa’s Old Hyde Park Village. Michael Winiarek is the Managing Partner of the Hyde Park office With offices in over 22 countries, this company has launched an aggressive expansion effort in the Florida market. The current decline in Florida real estate offers an opportunity for overseas buyers that is enhanced by the extra buying power offered due to the weakness of the American dollar in relation to most other currencies. Engle and Volkers is not just for overseas clients. They have already obtained an impressive listing of local properties for sale. Plans call for a new office in Sarasota soon. Current expansion has been on Florida’s West Coast, but watch for offices on the East Coast soon. Managing Partner Timo Khammash has been directing the expansion efforts. The Hyde Park Village office opened with a grand party featuring high end autos, jazz music, a large crowd, and more. The company also handles commercial properties and yacht sales and management.
